Job Description

Niagara Networks Business Development Manager is highly technical role. You will be responsible for creating strategy to work with alliance partners and drive execution for joint marketing programs with these partners. This role will generate new business through channel selling. In this role, you will work with senior managers to set the strategy for how we best seek and onboard new vendor partners, grow strategic relationships with existing partners, and work with Sales and Product Development teams to grow revenue through partner channels.

Job Responsibilities

· Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s product portfolio and awareness of competitor products

· Serve as Industry and Product authority of our partner solutions

  • Engage with Product Development, Sales, Customers, and Vendor partners to ensure solutions meet customer needs and are positioned strategically
  • Expertly make recommendations to customers and partners
  • Build positive relationships with our vendor partners through knowledge sharing, insights, and trustworthiness
  • Influence internal and external partners
  • Balance hands-on work with a desire to keep up with market trends
  • Preparing and presenting quotations/proposals to sales opportunities
  • Fulfilling reporting requirements to management according to the deadlines set for the department
  • Maximize profit on all potential sales opportunities

· Provide excellent customer services to clients over the phone or in-person

· Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills

· Attend industry trade shows as directed by the management team from time to time

Experiences and Skills

  • BS or similar degree, preferably in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Sophisticated Technical or Management degrees
  • A strong network of industry influencers
  • Comfort engaging with senior/executive partners and influencing their decisions
  • Experience with the Cyber security technologies
  • Experience with the data required to facilitate decision making across the Front, Middle, and Back-office
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Cyber security, and visibility deployments
  • Experience handling sophisticated tri-party relationships
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills that will drive adoption of our offerings
  • Passion for consistent learning
  • Ability to travel - 25%
